Erected by John Wilson of Straid in memory of his wife Jenny Maphett who died April 8th 1868 aged 56 years. Also Ellen their daughter who died Octr. 16th 1859 aged 24 years. Also Thomas who died Octr. 10th 1879 aged 31 years. Also the above John Wilson who died Sept 6th 1883 aged 82 years. Also John Dundee Wilson, son of the above Thos. Wilson, who died 25th April 1890 aged 16 years. Also Elizabeth Dundee, wife of the above Thomas Wilson, who died 17th November 1933 aged 81 years.
