Inscription
Erected to the memory of John Murdock who died on 1st May 1829 aged 59 years. Also his beloved wife Elizabeth who departed this life 5th Jan 1839 aged 59 years. Both in Ballyclare. Likewise their son Robert who died on 30th January 1840 aged 19 years. Also their son William who died on 27th December 1840 aged 29 years. Erected in memory of my beloved husband Revd. John Murdock, Pastor of Islip, N.Y. born 26th Aug 1840, fell asleep in Jesus 2nd Feby 1881. (Metal plate visible on railings, headstone fallen over)
