Inscription
Erected by Eliza Kennedy in memory of her husband John Kennedy who died 26th Novr 1887 aged 60 years. Also their two daughters Annie Lyle & Minnie who died in infancy. Also her brother-in-law David Kennedy who died 24th July 1891 aged 74 years. Also her son William Kennedy who died 7th February 1900 aged 32 years. Also her son Samuel who died 12th January 1906 aged 19 years. Also her daughter Minnie who died 30th November 1921 aged 39 years. Also her son David who died 1st November 1922 aged 53 years. The above- named Eliza Kennedy died 21st April 1937 aged 89 years. And Minnie, wife of John Kennedy, died 28th January 1948 aged 36 years. Jennie, wife of the late David Kennedy, Castletown, Ballynure, died 8th March 1964. "Absent in the body but present with the Lord."
