Erected by Robert Buchanan in memory of his sister Eliza Buchanan who died 28th Jan 1876 aged 42 years. Also his father John Buchanan who died 24th May 1878 aged 91 years. Also his mother Eliza Buchanan who died 12th May 1886 aged 95 years. Also his brother John Buchanan who died 4th Feb 1902 aged 83 years. Also his sister Margaret Buchanan who died 19th July 1904 aged 81 years. Also the above-named Robert Buchanan who died 21st March 1923 aged 92 years.
