Inscription
Erected by John Kerr in memory of his son Alexander who died 22nd March 1879 aged 23 years. And his son John who died young. Also his beloved wife, Sarah Jane Kerr who died 27th October 1900 aged 78 years. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord". The above- named John Kerr died 4th Augt 1905 aged 84 years. "These are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." "If the cross we meekly bear, Then the crown we shall wear. Reader, prepare to meet thy God".
